Challenge
The customer has a reference hardware platform for the ODM/OEM. ArcherMind was requested to update the whole Linux kernel of the BSP from low version to high version. The customer had changed parts of Linux sub-architecture for optimization. As a result, this presented technical challenges but ArcherMind found innovative and effective solutions that supported the ability to update versions. The Linux engineering work delivered needed to pass very strict acceptance criteria. The customer also requested us to optimize the performance of USB transfer, power management and memory copy.

Service Delivered
We identified the difference between the two versions, and base on the ArcherMind experience, created a solid understanding of the architecture of both. We also did further research and technical assessments on relative areas to determine the best solution to reach the performance point that customer had specified. The customer was very satisfied with ArcherMind's work.
